The room was a little dated, for me personally.

The hotel was in an ideal location, outside the town on the banks of the river. The room was airy and a nice size, had TV with satellite channels, climate control, and an individual safe. The hard-working staff accommodated all the needs.

This is a lovely hotel formed from a former monastery in peaceful countryside. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food and service were excellent.

I liked the secluded, quiet location, next to a river and surrounded by hills and woods. The old part of the Parador was very beautiful, the new annex where we stayed, less so. However the bedroom was large and well equipped and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and efficiently served.

I would have preferred to stay in the older part of the monastry but this was much more expensive. Overall I found the Parador rather expensive, particularly the 18 euro each breakfast.

The perfect location in Cangas with a variety of cafes nearby. the nice design of the interiors in the standard queen room. - Especially helpful and very friendly staff.

I am a frequent client of several Paradors. Very pleasant stay, apart from the restaurant's service and food. Not very professional staff at the restaurant. Also, I was not impressed with the quality of the cuisine, considering its price.

The hotel was fantastic, staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms perfect - ours overlooked a tumbling stream and was lovely having the french doors open and listen to the water.

The only disappointment to us, which was just a minor thing, was the breakfast. The buffet style morning meal, although a wide range, was lacking in the hot foods, for example, the eggs every morning ran out, and when replenished were a little cold and short in numbers. There was sometimes a stampede for them, still leaving some disappointed people without any.

We loved the luxury and exceptional experience here.

unique building and style

This hotel offers top-quality accommodations with a convenient location near Cangas de Onis town center and the coast, featuring hard-working and friendly staff.

Interesting old building with new annex for most rooms, popular with locals for weddings and other functions, plenty of parking, good value food, nice location being 30 min walk from Cangas so quiet in evenings.

Pity that there is not a kettle in the room, or that staff do not understand much english. Service in the bar is variable but very relaxed. Food served in the bar is good value but not very exciting and tends to have very dry bread in sandwiches and bocadilos.

The comforts of the standard king room were fabulous, including a private safe, a minibar, and central heating. the outstanding and great breakfasts for coffee or tea were a highlight. - the ideal central location near the Parador of Cangas de Onís made our stay very enjoyable for 2 nights.
